Work with young talents

2017/18Direction German Laboratory, 172. Grundschule, 1st-4th form
We approach stories, poems, theatre and film scenes, as well as non-fictional texts by listening, reading, writing and talking and invent our own.
2017/18Direction TeenieClub, Theater der Jungen Welt Leipzig, 11-14 years
We take ourselves on a time travel to the end of the 16th century and direct or invent something new at the Globe – a tribute to Shakespeare (and Dr. Who). Performances between 9.-17.06.2018.
August 2017Oskar Schlemmer Workshop, Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau, 4th form
Inspired by the stage work of Oskar Schlemmers we approach the human being (as an art figur) on stage and try out some dancing on the original Bauhaus stage.

In a five-day workshop we searched for utopias and designed several scenarios of the future to music of Pink Floyd, only by expressing physically without nearly any words.

2014 - 2016Events World Book Day, Lehmanns Buchhandlung Leipzig, 4th/5th form
After reading from a Children's book I invited the pupils with different games to get on traces of the protagonists of the respective stories.
Whether linguistically, literarily, by acting or dancing – the base of my work with children and youths are they themselves. What are they interested in? What are their stories, questions, problems and views? For me personally virtues like respect, reliability and (appropriate!) ambition are basic requirements for working together and having fun. Furthermore while teaching skills like teamwork, listening, appearing self-confidently, imagination, musicality, sense of rhythm, linguistic and physical expression I always try to create results as sophisticated as possible according to the skills and ambitions of the participants.
